Niteangel quick fit nylon muzzle loop is comfortable to wear, with extra soft padding. D-ring enables leading by the head and gives better control. Fully adjustable neck strap with snap fit. Fully adjustable snout circumference.

Instructions:

1. Take the dog’s measurement with a tape measure at the position shown. The muzzle loop should not be tight.
2. Place your forefinger under the tape measure to ensure enough space for your dog to be comfortable, do not tighten it.
3. Fit the selected muzzle loop on your dog. Check the fit by running your finger inside the snout strap. Your dog must be able to pant and have free tongue movement.

Better a little too loose than too tight!

Fitting the muzzle loop:

1. Place the muzzle loop over the dog’s nose, making sure that it has a comfortable fit.
2. Bring the neck strap behind the head and snap the buckle parts together. Make sure that the neck strap is not twisted.
3. Pull the end of the strap to secure the muzzle loop. Do not overtighten.

Attention:

• Make sure you have chosen the correct muzzle loop size for your dog.
• Be a responsible dog owner! Do not leave your dog unattended when wearing the muzzle. The muzzle should not be worn over a longer period of time.
• The loop should not be used to punish the dog.
• Help your dog get used to the muzzle loop, e.g. by giving treats through the loop when fastening it. This will provide positive reinforcement.

Great muzzle I was confused by the description so in case anyone else is confused: this package does contain TWO muzzles, L and XL. The L fit my pit bull perfectly and doesn’t irritate her skin like other muzzles. I keep it a little loose so my dog can still open her mouth to breath or lick. Still, she isn’t able to knock it off her snout while we walk. Great quality product.

Recommend The only issue I’ve had with this product is that the strap under the jaw has sometimes slipped off so I just rolled the end and used a safety pin to keep it in place. Did such muzzle training with the help of YouTube, trained the boys in about two days and they are just happy to be taking a walk. I’ve never had any incidences occur, but because they are strong powerful pits and other people like to let their dogs run around without a leash, this seems like the best way to take them I’m around town. They are able to lick and drink water but not open wide. XL fits well. I like the leader part, as well–it makes it easy to keep them from pulling away.

Very Nice. I have a 96 lb German Shepherd dog, who loves to pull when he sees something of interest. I have always used the Gentle Leader Headcollar in the past, it is an excellent product but is not padded and when I saw this for sale I knew it was exactly the thing I wanted as my dog is also very protective of me, i.e. when we are out walking he gets agitated when someone speaks to me so I cannot stop and talk. I bought a muzzle for when I take him to the vets as he literally stands in front of me and guards me, but it made him worse as it annoyed him.The fitting it is exactly like fitting the Gentle Leader Headcollar so he could not tell the difference.I opened his mouth to make sure it wasn’t too tight around his nose, he could drink and open his mouth but not enough to bite the vet if he got frightened. I have found that by handing him over to the vets and me staying outside he is fine, it seems that I am the problem. This is a two in one item, stops pulling and…
